Unique programme of lectures, discussions and workshops

Photographers, students, collectors, visual art critics and historians and anyone interested in photography is invited to participate in the FFF Academy. For Germany this long-running unique programme combines lectures, discussions and workshops from top experts and practitioners of the world’s lens-based culture. We strive in offering new perspectives and ideas about the medium which engage the participants to expand their vision.

        Innovative photography projects

The FFF format “Photography Players. International specialists featuring upcoming talents” focuses on current international photography projects and ideas about the medium as well as different, young and fresh talents. In lectures, talks or presentations FFF curator Celina Lunsford discusses new photographers and the talents from tomorrow.

          FFF JUNIOR

          Learning through photography

Learning through photography is the essence of the programme FFF Junior. Photographers, artists and art-educators work intensively in workshops with children and teenagers, experimenting with cameras, editing, discussing current themes relating to exhibitions and their own environments. The results of the participants are combined into a dynamically designed photo-magazine in printed form. Included in the FFF Junior programme are free group tours and workshops for schools, kindergartens and youth centres, different workshop concepts, an introduction for teachers, with special emphasis on the current exhibition. All offers are available upon request.

            Guided by experts

Every Wednesday at 6 pm. Guided tours of the current exhibition are offered free of charge and included in your entrance fee. Additional private or group tours for classes or special events are also available upon request.
