Since its foundation in 1984, the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt (FFF) has presented numerous aspects of photography and is a platform for critical dialogue. In the meantime, the programme of the FFF is wide-ranging: four to six EXHIBITIONS annually, various publications, as well as workshops, lectures and symposia within the FFF ACADEMY show the possibility and diversity of photography - as a form of documentation, as an independent art genre and as a universal language.
The FFF sharpens the view for high-quality international photography with formats close to the audience, such as the discussion and exhibition series PHOTOGRAHPHY PLAYERS, with regular guided TOURS and with FFF JUNIOR, a programme for cultural education for children and young people.
Discovering different facets of photography
With regular changing exhibitions the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt presents different facets of the medium including a wide range of its artistic capabilities and expressions. Historical and current themes are shown: one-person and group shows of internationally renowned names in photography as well as discoveries and emerging talents.

Learning through photography
Learning through photography is the essence of the programme FFF Junior. Photographers, artists and art-educators work intensively in workshops with children and teenagers, experimenting with cameras, editing, discussing current themes relating to exhibitions and their own environments. The results of the participants are combined into a dynamically designed photo-magazine in printed form. Included in the FFF Junior programme are group tours and workshops for schools, kindergartens and youth centres, different workshop concepts, an introduction for teachers, with special emphasis on the current exhibition. All offers are available upon request.
Guided by experts
The accompanying programme of all exhibitions at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt includes public guided tours, weekly on Wednesdays. Special guided tours with curators, experts and artists take place at regular intervals. In addition, private (group) tours or special events are also available upon request.
