Dating services, the influence of different ethnic roots on one's family, the legacy of German-German history: with their works Karla Hiraldo Voleau, Tobias Kruse and Mika Sperling allow personal insights into their private lives. The three artists are the second year of the fellowship recommended, which was established by Olympus in 2017 together with the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt, the Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and the Haus der Photographie/Deichtorhallen Hamburg. More information

WORKSHOP

A THOUSAND WORDS: INTERSECTIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND LANGUAGE

Alison Nordström


Saturdays, November 7, 14 and 21, 2020, 4–6 pm


In this online workshop with the American curator and writer Alison Nordström the participants will learn to improve and clarify the way of using words in relation to their photography. Those attending will work on texts for titles and captions, the “elevator speech”, the artist’s statement, etc.
