Saturday, April 13/14, 2019, 10am–6pm
Experimenting, discovering new APPS, image-defining elements (i. e. space, light, interior decor).
Meeting at 10 am. Alessandra Capodacqua will start with an introduction to the topic and present different methods of smartphone photography for discussion. The group will jointly experiment with different effects. Alessandra Capodacqua will give the participants individual exercises. After this the participants have the time to photograph.
14 April: We begin with a closer look at the photos. Under her instruction we will discuss and further develop the approaches of the participants.
Participants should bring their mobile devices – smartphones or tablets – with chargers and an extra power-bank just in case, if they own one. If they wish to take notes, a notepad and a pen. They should be prepared to spend a small amount of money, about €10-20, to purchase apps. It’s completely up to them how much they want to invest. Free apps will also be used.
Alessandra Capodacqua will dig into the best apps available for shooting and post-processing, on equipment to expand functionalities, as well as give participants a perspective on how to make serious photography with a mobile device (iOS/ Android).
This eye-opener workshop is suitable for engaged beginners to advanced photographers who wish to explore new artistic territories and somehow break the rules.
