With vibrant colours and an extraordinary visual language, the
artist Aïda Muluneh focuses on the unequal distribution of existential resources such as water, food and education, the abuse of power and human rights and the empowerment of women. For her photographic compositions, she interweaves different cultural traditions and perspectives and uses methods from film and stage. With works of her major series FFF is showing her first solo presentation in Germany. read more

Photo editor and gallerist Ute Noll trains participants in her workshop series PREP THE UNSEEN on the optimal presentation of photographic images and artistic stances for magazines and exhibitions, or online platforms. As an expert for image and photography with extensive expertise in developing portfolio formats, Ute Noll also provides the group with tips for collaborating with picture editors, authors, curators, and designers. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt. This makes the FFF one of the earliest independent centres for photography in Europe, provide impetus in the international photographic art scene. Andrea Horvay, co-curator of the current exhibition will guide the visitors through the fascinating imagery by Aïda Muluneh. Together the group will explore the extraordinary visual language and backgrounds of the seven series of works on display.

ABE FRAJNDLICH. CHAMELEON on tour: From December 13, 2023 – April 1, 2024 the FFF retrospective of American photographer Abe Frajndlich is on view at Kunstfoyer Versicherungskammer Bayern in Munich. This exhibition presents Frajndlich's portraits of creatives from music, art and film, his street photography and body studies. The show originally curated by Celina Lunsford and Esra Klein for the FFF ended recently in September in Frankfurt.
