Euphoria on the dance floor, uproar in the factories, ever-changing landscapes – the exhibition “OUT OF CONTROL” features long-term socio-political photographic essays by German photographer Michael Kerstgens in black-and-white and colour from Germany, Russia and Great Britain spanning more than forty years.

The highlight of the evening will be colour photographs from the 1980s, accompanied by rocking tunes from the band 'old maps'. FFF main sponsor Fujifilm is supporting the evening with an INSTAX camera campaign – Take your souvenir photos back home with you.

Those interested in learning more about the German photographer and his work can join the short guided tours in the exhibition during the Night of the Museums at 7.30, 9.30 and 11.30 pm. Further insights into Michael Kerstgens' artistic repertoire will be provided by the screenings “Out of Control”, “The Final Winter” and “Kurdistan”.

This year, the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt will be rocking with music. The indie rock band old maps will be in the spotlight at 8.30 and 10.30 pm

The Night of the Museums will be rounded off with a competition. The first prize is an INSTAX Mini 99 camera, kindly donated by Fujifilm, the main sponsor of the FFF. Anyone wishing to take part can fill in the competition card and hand it in on the day.
