Meeting at 10 am. After a brief introduction to the phone camera and hands on practice on composition and light the group will go on a photo walk. 

After lunch break step by step mastering Snapseed is scheduled following by reviews, feedback and next steps.

In diesem Workshop wird das Smartphone nicht als Telefon, sondern als spiegellose Kamera mit festem Objektiv verstanden. Der Fokus liegt zunächst darauf, Licht und Komposition »zu sehen«, gefolgt von einem tiefen Einstieg in das »digitale Dunkelzimmer« mithilfe professioneller (aber kostenloser) Apps.


Ziel ist es, den Teilnehmenden zu ermöglichen, die Kamera ihres Smartphones und kostenlose Bearbeitungs-Apps sicher zu nutzen, um hochwertige Bilder zu erstellen und fotografische Prinzipien auf professionellem Niveau anzuwenden.


Die Teilnehmenden lernen die technischen Stärken und Grenzen mobiler Sensoren kennen. Wir beschäftigen uns mit den nativen Kameraeinstellungen (Belichtungssperre, HDR, Raster, Serienaufnahmen), Kompositionstechniken speziell für Weitwinkelobjektive von Smartphones und nicht-destruktiven Bearbeitungsworkflows mit der kostenlosen App Snapseed.

Alessandra Capodacqua, born in Naples and based in Florence, is a photographer, educator, and curator with a background in European languages and literatures. As an artist, she experiments with various photo devices (pinhole, toy cameras, smartphones) and continuously explores new digital technologies and alternative printing processes. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally, including at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris and the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence. An Adobe Creative Educator, she teaches photography in Italian and English for various institutions. As a curator, she manages exhibitions, participates in festivals, serves as a portfolio reviewer and jury member for international awards, and mentors photographers. She is the creative advisor and curator for Collezione Donata Pizzi, which features over 90 Italian women photographers, and organises the Gabriele Basilico Prize for Landscape and Architecture Photography.
