With its fascinating high-rises, interwoven business and neighborhood milieus, and international life in streets and alleys, Frankfurt's inner city is unique in Germany. In a public and hidden spaces, it offers ideal conditions for street and architectural photography.

Professionally supported by Thomas Keydel, the participants of EYES ON Frankfurt practice integrating creative variables such as closeness, width, depth, shadow and light into the composition of the image, emphasizing the details of a motif and making optimal use of their own equipment.

Professional photographic equipment is not required for participation.

If desired, participants can use cameras from FFF sponsor FUJIFILM.

Thomas Keydel is a photo-journalist who focused on the environment and social issues. Some of his photo projects have centered on the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, the enormous impact of monocultures such as palm oil plantations in Borneo and life along the highest passable road in the region Ladakh/ India. Since 2019, he has been working on the long-term project “Desertification Worldwide”.

Keydel has received several grants, including from VG Bild-Kunst and the Hessische Kulturstiftung. His images have been published in international magazines such as Spiegel, Leica Fotografie International (LFI) and GEO.
