For experienced amateurs

Frankfurt through the lens PLUS is a four hour-tour of the city with photographic expertise for those, who already have their camera under control and are searching for new perspectives and challenges. Experience Frankfurt while photographing its most interesting sights with professional help from multi-media photojournalist, Nils Thies. The goal of this workshop is to learn how to see motives and to capture them with your camera in an image. At the same time you pursue your own concept, which we discuss in the beginning of the workshop, or you just take things as they come. That’s how you find out, how your photography looks like and what you need for it. Technical questions will be answered as well. The most interesting districts and themes in Frankfurt are waiting for you. Depending on the weather, current themes or wishes on the part of the participants this workshop can focus upon a specific emphasis: e.g. exploring ecology in the city park, observing Frankfurt´s public life between the train station and banking district or just studying the goings-on at the Mainufer.

New this year: you also have the chance to use Olympus cameras which FFF main sponsor Olympus Deutschland will provide for testing.
